This Privacy Policy explains how Rocket Digital Limited ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the DecorAI – AI Interior Design app (the "App") or visit www.decoraihome.app (the "Website"). We take privacy seriously and we keep this policy in plain English.

1. Who we are

DecorAI is operated by Rocket Digital Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong at 1603, The L Plaza, 367-375 Queens Road Central, Hong Kong. For any privacy question, write to hello@rocketdigital.ai.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details. Email address, sign-in identifier (Apple ID / Google account when applicable), display name, and language preference.
  • Room photos & design inputs. Photos you upload to generate an AI interior design, plus the prompts and styles you choose.
  • Purchases. If you upgrade to DecorAI Pro, the App Store or Google Play handles payment; we receive only a receipt and the active plan status via RevenueCat.
  • Support messages. Anything you write to us by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data. Device model, OS version, app version, crash reports, screen views, and feature interactions.
  • Approximate location. Derived from IP for fraud prevention and language defaults — never precise GPS.
  • Cookies & pixels (Website only). Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel cookies that help us measure traffic and ad performance.

3. How we use your information

  • To generate the AI interior design renderings you request.
  • To keep your account, downloads, and Pro entitlements working.
  • To improve the AI room design app, fix crashes, and prioritize features.
  • To send you transactional messages (receipts, security notices).
  • To measure marketing performance and reduce wasted ad spend.
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

4. Third-party services we rely on

We use a small number of trusted vendors to run DecorAI. Each one only receives the data it needs and is contractually required to protect it.

  • RevenueCat — subscription management and receipt validation for DecorAI Pro.
  • Firebase (Google) — authentication, crash reporting, remote configuration, and analytics events inside the App.
  • Google AdMob — advertising in the free tier of the App, with non-personalized ad options where required by law.
  • OpenAI — language understanding for prompt interpretation and stylistic guidance.
  • Microsoft Azure — secure cloud hosting for parts of our backend and content delivery.
  • Replicate — AI image generation infrastructure that powers the AI room design output.
  • Fal.ai — additional AI image inference for low-latency AI interior design previews.
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymised website analytics with IP anonymisation enabled.
  • Meta Pixel — measurement of website conversions for our Meta (Facebook / Instagram) advertising.
  • Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly first-party performance and traffic analytics for the Website.

Room photos sent to AI providers (OpenAI, Replicate, Fal.ai, Microsoft Azure) are processed solely to return your design and are not used to train public foundation models.

5. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

  • Performance of a contract — generating designs you requested and managing your account.
  • Legitimate interests — securing the App, preventing fraud, and improving the AI home design app.
  • Consent — marketing cookies, Meta Pixel, and personalized ads where required.
  • Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requests.

6. Data retention

  • Generated designs: kept while your account is active; deletable in-app at any time.
  • Account records: deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Backups: rotated and overwritten within 90 days.
  • Analytics: aggregated and pseudonymised; raw event logs retained for up to 14 months.

7. Children

DecorAI is intended for users aged 13 and over (16+ in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under those ages.

8. International transfers

Our vendors operate in the United States, the European Economic Area, and other regions. When personal data leaves your country, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, UK IDTAs, or equivalent safeguards.

9. Your rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent for analytics and ads via your device settings or by emailing us.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. EU users can also use the Irish DPC; UK users the ICO; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA.

10. Security

Photos and account data move over TLS 1.2+ and are stored encrypted at rest. Access is limited to a small number of engineers under audit controls. No system is perfect, but we do not store payment card data — Apple and Google handle that for us.

11. Cookies on the Website

We use a small set of cookies for: Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics 4, and Meta Pixel. You can opt out from your browser settings, an ad-blocker, or our cookie banner where available.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App and on this page with a new effective date.
